St.Marys Engineering Institute, Pala is established in the year 1963, with Kerala Govt. recognition in Civil, Mechanical, Electrical, Automobile, Refrigeration & Air Conditioning, Electronics & Communication, and Radio & Television Engineering of two years duration with a combined annual intake of 420 students each. Out of the total sanctioned strength 10% is reserved for SC, ST and OEC students. Selected such students are eligible for full fee concession, monthly stipent and lumpsum grand.

Kerala Government Certificate Examination in Engineering (KGCE-2Years) (SSLC passed/+2 Failed)
We are providing KGCE two years Engg. courses, which are conducted by the technical education department of kerala. For KGCE Engg. courses S.S.L.C passed are the basic qualification for admission. The course is equivalent to VHSE and the students completing the course successfully are eligible for higher studies. In our institute, we have 7 courses –
Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Automobile Engineering, Refrigeration & Air-conditioning Engineering, Electronics & Communication Engineering, Radio & Television Engineering
Application & prospectus for the KGCE courses are available in our office. The candidate must fill the application form properly and need to submit in our office along with the following documents
Conduct certificates from head of the institution last attended/parish vicar/NSS karayogam/SNDP Yogam/Yogakshema sabha/ Jamaat-e-Islami or any other social organizations.
Original and attested copy of S.S.L.C certificate.
Cast certificate (Only for SC/ST/OEC students)
Aadhaar card copy
Ration card copy
At the time of interview the candidate should be present at our office with parents along with the original certificates. Those who are selected shall come with their parents within three days or otherwise the admission will lapse.
10% of the total seats available in 7 branches are reserved for SC/ST/OEC students. The financial concession and other benefits prescribed by govt rule from time to time
10% of student’s whose annual family income is below Rs.50000/- are given fee concession without considering their cast or religion.

It is indeed an honour and pleasure for me to send St. Mary’s Engineering Institute my best wishes on the occasion in it’s 56th anniversary. Little did I think that the humble endeavour ventured into back in 1963, would grow into the present stature; (from Civil Engg. to Computer at present) renowned institution on firm footing with its name ever spreading out, in terms of numbers, efficiency and student population.
